Book Signing at 2018 Book Expo of America in New York

On June 1, Joram signed more than 80 copies of The Speed of Dark at the 2018 Book Expo of America in New York City. He was accompanied by Stevan Nikolic, publisher of Adelaide Books. According to the Book “New Title Showcase” report, Joram’s book was the second most popular book at the whole display and the Adelaide Books was the fourth most popular publisher with visitors.

Helen Keller Award for Vision Research
Joram Piatigorsky, Ph.D., chief of NEI’s Laboratory of Molecular and Developmental Biology (LMDB), received the Helen Keller Award for Vision Research on April 29, 2008. The award, given each year since 1994, is presented by the Helen Keller Foundation for Research and Education for “significant contributions to vision science during the course of a career or for a single contribution of exceptional importance to vision science.”
